Have you noticed last “Premium Auction” from Sedo, running at the moment? (16th – 23rd October).

I just had a glaze on UK section and how pathetic it is!..

Just demonstrates that no one is interested to sell their .co.uk’s on Sedo and Sedo does nothing to retain own marketplace value. Most portfolio holders disable “for sale” links on their domains thanks to this failing attitude. All others redirect “for sale” links to their own pages (something I recommend you to do if you haven’t done it yet). You are much better off selling on your own website than on Sedo’s marketplace, it does not provide any value in it’s current shape.

I remember submitting ‘datarecovery.co.uk’ for a live event in Germany with a reserve of £10,000 (having many offers for it  up to £7K in the past) but it was promptly rejected as reserve price was “too high”. Well, Sedo of course is choosing what to auction. Had they any sense in their appraisals, they were not auctioning name like these as premiums… :
